Final Night for 2015 was a good one!

Jan 1 2016 The final race meeting at Lord's Raceway for 2015 attracted a large crowd who enjoyed ideal racing conditions and witnessed some very promising horses in action.
Highlights of the night included:

• Spot Ona Shadow for trainer Darren Cole and driver Tim McLean from Terang  winning the Hygain Pace first up after 2 years off the scene. His record is now three on end.
• Master trainer Peter Manning producing Miss Miss Rivkah first up to win the Alabar 2YO Pace for Queensland based owners. 
• Fake Smile now with a picket fence of 6 wins on end after sitting outsidee the leader throughout to with the Cougar Bourbon Pace.
• Hickstead, first up from NZ for the John Justice stable won the VHRSC Provincial Cup heat. 
• ​Rising star in Mister Wickham brought up a driving double for Greg Sugars in the J L King Pace despite being 3 wide for the entire race.
• ​And to top out a great night, another very promising pacer Lucky Lombo brought up his 5th win from 5 tries for Myola trainer Graeme McDermott and champion driver Chris Alford.

Amazingly, the Quadrella paid a miserly $4.70.
