Deal wins NSW Anzac Day Trot
Deal Or No Deal winning at bendigp
26 April 2012 - Victoria's new trotting star Dealornodeal has won the Harness Breeders NSW La Coocaracha (Gr3) at Coolamon on Anzac Day. The Chris Lang trained five-year-old mare won the feature trot on the all trotting program by a short half head, digging deep to take victory in a stirring finish. Lang took Dealornodeal off the pegs to race without cover for the last lap and a quarter and had to chase down Savona which travelled strong for David Thorn into the home straight. Responding well to Lang urging, Dealornodeal won the battle wearing down front runner with Mexican Invasion finishing strongly to figure prominently in a three way finish to the 2210 metre contest. The victory is Dealornodeal's fourth from six Australian starts and the mare's first Group race triumph. Dealornodeal created a sensation at Bendigo with a Australiasian record mile in the Girls On Fire Time Trial Series at her local debut in February. WATCH TROT TV REPLAY.
