PETstock Animal Supplies has increased its involvement with harness racing by signing on as the major sponsor of the Group 2 Bendigo Pacing Cup, the Bendigo Harness Racing Club’s flagship event raced at Lords Raceway each JanuaryAlready the sponsor of the Group 1 Ballarat Pacing Cup, PETstock has  committed to a three year partnership with Bendigo Harness Racing Club which is a significant boost for the Club and the local region.  BHRC General Manager David Aldred said, “President Dennis Bice and the Committee of the Bendigo Harness Racing Club are delighted that PETstock has signed on to partner our Bendigo Pacing Cup. It is our aim to continue building the status of the Bendigo Pacing Cup, our feature race,  each year as a major event for the community and a premium race for harness racing in this state.  Together with PETstock’s support we would like to try and elevate the race to Group 1 status in coming years. Last year, the 2009 Inter Dominion Champion and USA Little Brown Jug winner, Mr Feelgood contested the race and was runner-up to the Graeme Lang trained Sammy Maguire. The previous three Cup winners were Grand Circuit horses Sting Lika Bee (2007), Safari (2008) and Changeover (2009).in 2011, the $50,000 PETstock Bendigo Pacing Cup (2650m) was won by the champion Smoken Up driven by Lance Justice. Ballarat's Decorated Jasper led from start to finish to win the 2012 edition.
